I'm a piano player from Sydney and am currently doing a Bachelor of Music/Bachelor of Arts at UNSW. I come from a well-known Australian jazz family, the Barnards, and last year we released an album called 'Three Generations of Barnards' (available from Newmarket Music). I received a BBM Jazz Award in 2005, which allowed me to go to London where I met and played with many notable British jazz musicians. Currently I'm performing with my own band, with Amali Ward (on trumpet), and with a range of other great Sydney musos.
